John Westerfield - A Supporter of High-Quality Education in NYC

John Westerfield

With a bachelor’s in government from Dartmouth College and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School, John Westerfield has worked extensively in commercial real estate and finance. As chief executive officer of Mitsui Fudosan America, John Westerfield oversees all aspects of the company’s nationwide activities.

When John Westerfield is not performing his extensive duties as CEO, he devotes time to giving back to his own community, working alongside his wife to ensure educational opportunities are made available to youth living in New York City. As part of Student Sponsor Partners, the pair has funded the private-school education of a number of schoolchildren. Together, they have helped to sponsor more than 40 high school students.

Other past charitable activities include contributing to the SkillsUSA program at Roosevelt High School for the past five years, and supporting his alma mater, Dartmouth. He also donates to Harlem Children's Zone, an organization dedicated to improving the futures of young children and their families.
